Board

RDA 2010 – 2011 Board of Directors
The RDA board of directors is composed of 50 community leaders from various fields, the dean of the School of Architecture at Rice University, and two student representatives from Rice and the University of Houston College of Architecture.

Board members are elected to three-year terms and may serve on the board for up to six continuous years before rotating off. This year the RDA board tackled several initiatives, including reviewing and revising its by-laws, establishing a set of Core Values that will be integrated in all RDA programs and business activities, increasing RDA’s visibility in the community through partnerships with like-minded organizations and neighborhood associations, and improving RDA’s presence on the internet by creating a Cite blog (offcite.org) and updating the RDA website (ricedesignalliance.org).
